Can demons read our thoughts or hear the prayers we pray silently?

I was glancing through a book and this is what an author had to say on the subject: Only the Holy Spirit is able to read our thoughts and hearts. Demons are limited in their knowledge and ability to acquire knowledge. The very nature of demons does not allow them to know our thoughts.

So if our prayers are spoken aloud they are able to hear them. What do you think?

I also know that He died for the sins of the world. I work for JPL as a Library Assistant and have been an employee since 2003. I am currently in school working on my degree to promote to the next level. I do enjoy working for JPL, my department (Main/Reference) is the best, the team rocks!!!
